  I am NOT Greek but I am Catholic but I always look forward to St. John's annual Greek Festival. The Greek food is absolutely out of this world - and so are the prices you have to pay. They also have special Greek music with dancers, products & best of all Greek UZO (not sure of spelling) that tastes exactly like black licorice.
  A REALLY FUN PLACE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

  Every year, on the month of May, I make sure that we attend and participate in the fantastic Greek Festival. We really enjoy visiting the beautiful and inspiring Saint John Greek Orhodox church.
  
  After the 9:00 Sunday religious service, we sit in one of the shaded tables to enjoy the great Greek music and sabor delicious food sold in the courtyard.
  
  The atmosphere is of real joy and celebration and watching all the nice people dancing at the enticing sound of typical great music, makes our visit a memorable family Sunday.
  
  Multiple vendors exhibit their selected merchandize at the left side of the church courtyard. There is always something interesting to see and buy.
  
  After lunch, we make sure to get a variety of the most delicious Greek sweets and pastries.
  
  Drinks from the bar include the famous Greek Uso, a spicy anisette liquor.
  
  Greek coffe is great to acompany all my favorite sweets, while listening to the music, and having nice conversations with our table neighbors.
  
  I am excited and ready to participate and enjoy the 2016 Greek Festival at Sain John Greek Ortodox Church, in Anaheim, CA.

  I've been here the last few years with various friends and family. I wasn't going to go this year because it's always the same, but my brother had never been and I sucked it up.
  
  It's the same carnival rides and games you see at every park or parking lot around Southern California. This one just has ouzo cocktails, baklava, some Greek food and a little music thrown in.
  
  Considering the abundance of great Mediterranean food out here, the only reason I can think of to come here is if you really have nothing better to do that weekend or if you want to support the church.
